I CAN update everyone!

I know I have been awful about blogging, but I'm not not any good at it! I'm trying to get better, especially since Evelyn is almost here. We'll see!

OK so I had another appointment last week and everything looked great! I got to meet one of the other OBGYNs that work in the office just in case my doctor isn't there to deliver. My next appointment is this Thursday and we are going to get all Evie's measurements to see how big she is and how she is positioned. My sugar has been alright, but as time goes on my sugar gets higher. I am really praying she doesn't end up being a 10lb baby!!!

We went to birthing classes last weekend. There was probably only one or two things we went over that Joey and I didn't already know, but I really wanted to take the class to get an idea of what the atmosphere would be like with the L&D nurses at the hospital. I am so glad we did it. I loved all the nurses and they made it very clear that they try to as much as they can to make sure we all get the delivery we want. I've heard so many stories of pushy L&D nurses that are more concerned with policy then your feelings and that is not how they were at all! I guess we just have to wait until the big day to see if they really act that way! :)

We almost finished the nursery. The furniture should be here soon and then I will put all the finishing touches. The funniest thing is Evie's closet. She isn't even here and the closet is FULL! What is even sadder is that I haven't even put up the clothes I got at my first shower! She will be the best dressed little girl on the block!

Like I mentioned, I had my first baby shower on April 19th at church. It was a lot of fun and everyone was so VERY nice. I forgot my camera (as usual) so I don't have any pictures. When I get a copy of them all I will post more about the shower and the pictures.

I think I will also post some pictures of her nursery so until next time... (I wont wait 4 weeks again!)
